- The dispensary page offers "doorstep delivery within 24 hours or collect at a Dis-Chem pharmacy in just 2 hours".
- Submit a Script service hours are weekdays 08:00 to 16:00 and Saturdays 08:00 to 13:00.
- An online doctor consultation and the steps a pharmacist takes to review a script are not stated on the pages we checked.
Delivery
- Delivery is national: free in main metropolitan areas on orders over R600, R35 below R600, and R150 for non-metropolitan and remote areas.
- For online orders Dis-Chem says "We strive to deliver within 3 days"; a 60-minute DeliverD option is also offered.
- How fridge-line medicine such as semaglutide is kept cold in transit is not stated on the pages we checked.
Returns and refunds
- The terms list "Scheduled medicines (as per pharmacy law)" among items that "cannot be returned under any circumstances".
- Other goods can be returned within 14 days with a till slip, and defective products within 6 months.

Does Dis-Chem publish semaglutide prices?
No. When we checked, the Dis-Chem "Semaglutide" brand page showed "We can't find products matching the selection." The table on this page shows the SEP and the approximate maximum price for the 11 semaglutide packs with a published SEP; a pharmacy price including the dispensing fee should fall within that range.
Can I return semaglutide to Dis-Chem?
No. Dis-Chem lists scheduled medicines among items that cannot be returned under any circumstances, in line with pharmacy law. Semaglutide is a Schedule 4 medicine, so it falls under this rule.
