Prescription process
- Prescriptions can be handed in at any Medirite pharmacy to "fill while you shop". PrepMyScript lets you pre-order repeats by SMS.
- With Quick Collect you "Call your pharmacy and place your order", and the pharmacist sends a payment link before you collect.
- The Courier Pharmacy handles monthly repeat medication after you complete a registration form.
- No online doctor consultation is offered; Netclinic nurse-led care is available in person at selected stores.
Delivery
- Express delivery from listed branches covers a 7 km radius, ordered by phone: "a delivery fee of R35 applies". Express hours are Monday to Sunday, 9AM to 5PM, excluding public holidays.
- The Courier Pharmacy delivers repeat medication nationwide, including outlying areas, as a "free monthly service".
- How fridge-line medicine such as semaglutide is kept cold in transit is not stated on the pages we checked.

Does Medirite publish semaglutide prices?
No. Medirite's website has no product catalogue, and a Checkers search for Ozempic returned "No products found" when we checked. The table on this page shows the SEP and the approximate maximum price for the 11 semaglutide packs with a published SEP; a pharmacy price including the dispensing fee should fall within that range.
